Is Gladue Making a Difference?
In a 2018 interview, former Correctional Investigator of Canada and Independent Advisor on Corrections Reform, Howard Sapers, highlights that while a great deal of effort and training on gathering the Gladue information for the report, very little effort was put into training and support for legal professionals in how to apply Gladue principles in court.
