Description

Working Conditions

  • May be required to work overtime and/or travel
  • The courthouse is extremely busy with exposure to clients facing stressful circumstances, who may become verbally or physically abusive
  • Considerable concentration is required to read, listen, interpret, and communicate information relating to court proceedings, policies, and procedures
  • Considerable pressure to meet deadlines, ensure the efficient functioning of the court, as well as balancing the expectations in serving the needs of the judiciary, legal profession, public and other justice sector participants
  • There is a need for constant awareness of the law and legislation policies and procedures

This is a permanent employment opportunity, located at the Halifax Law Courts.

Pay Grade: EC 10

Salary Range: $3,247.28 - $4,059.12 Bi-Weekly
