The CBA Wills, Estates and Trusts Section is the CBA’s voice on all issues related to the law and practice in the areas of wills, trusts, estates and adult mental incapacity. Our mandate covers:
- Estate planning and administration
- Tax matters related to wills, estates and trusts
- Contentious and litigious issues in this area of practice
- Courts dealing with these issues, including their establishment, jurisdiction, procedure, organization and administration
- Practice of lawyers before the courts
Our Section liaises regularly with:
- Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association
- Canadian Bankers Association
