Trauma-Informed Judging
The Section has built upon the CBA’s Truth and Reconciliation initiatives to develop another judges-only program. Trauma-Informed Judging is a pre-recorded webinar featuring a conversation with the Honourable Sheilah L. Martin (Supreme Court of Canada) and Ms. Myrna McCallum (Métis-Cree lawyer and host of the Trauma-Informed Lawyer podcast). This important program addresses do no further harm relational approaches to the practice of law, and how these can and should extend to our courtrooms.
