Bill C-223 — Keeping Children Safe Act
The CBA Sections support Bill C‑223’s goals of strengthening responses to family violence, improving child safety, and prioritizing children’s best interests in separation and divorce. However, we are concerned that the some of the proposed reforms limit judicial discretion and may prevent courts from properly addressing the unique circumstances of each family.
