Congratulating Mr. Justice Ivan Bloom

The National Constitutional and Human Rights Law Section would like to congratulate The Honourable Ivan S. Bloom on his recent appointment as a judge of Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The Honourable Mr. Justice Bloom had been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and served as a Member at Large of the Executive Committee for several years.  As noted by Jamie Merrigan, Chair of the Constitutional and Human Rights Law Section, “Mr. Justice Bloom’s articulate and thoughtful legal analysis is well known and respected throughout the legal community. He is and will be an excellent addition to an already esteemed bench in Ontario.”
