The Canadian Bar Association welcomes the federal government's announcement of a new approach to Governor in Council (GiC) appointments and encourages attention to underlying issues that affect the perceived integrity of GiC appointees, particularly for adjudicative tribunals.
The CBA National office will be closed from December 23 to January 1 for the holidays and will resume normal operations on January 2.
