The Opportunity

We are seeking a junior lawyer (0–2 years’ experience) to join our growing personal injury practice. This is an ideal role for a motivated new call or early-career lawyer who is eager to build litigation skills in a high-volume environment and work directly with clients from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume personal injury file load with appropriate supervision
• Conduct client intake, meetings, and ongoing client communication
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents
• Assist with discoveries, mediations, applications, and trials
• Communicate with insurers, opposing counsel, and experts
• Maintain strong file organization and compliance with deadlines

Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
• 0–2 years of legal experience (personal injury experience is an asset but not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach
