Volunteer

People in a meeting.

As someone on the frontlines of the legal profession, you have skills, knowledge and expertise to share.

And you can make a difference. Become a force for change with the CBA. Work with your colleagues to address issues that matter to you – from diversity and inclusion to access to justice, reconciliation, law reform and changes in your areas of practice.

Benefits of Volunteering

As a CBA volunteer, you’ll connect with legal professionals across Canada, develop your leadership skills, build your network and advance your career. You’ll also contribute to our advocacy efforts, shaping the future of law and advancing important issues. Giving back has never been so rewarding.

Join the hundreds of CBA members who volunteer their time and expertise.

Board Committees and Subcommittees

Our four CBA Board Committees – Audit and Risk, Finance, Governance and Equality, and Policy – plus their Subcommittees each offer opportunities to get involved in a meaningful way. Elections are held every spring.
