About the Opportunity
Altis Recruitment is partnering with a leading regional law firm to recruit an experienced Corporate Paralegal for a high-volume corporate practice. This role is well suited for a mid to senior-level paralegal who enjoys working closely with a busy lawyer and supporting a wide range of corporate matters in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you’ll provide direct support to a senior corporate lawyer while collaborating with a broader legal services team. You’ll be trusted to manage corporate maintenance and filings with a high degree of independence, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong client service across all deliverables.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll manage annual corporate maintenance, including BC online registry filings, entity reviews, and ongoing record updates.
- You’ll prepare and file corporate documents under the BCBCA and CBCA, including incorporations, amendments, and name changes.
- You’ll support corporate transactions by preparing resolutions, organizing records, and assisting with due diligence searches and corporate extracts.
- You’ll maintain accurate and compliant minute books, corporate records, and document management systems.
- You’ll assist with billing coordination and related administrative support related to corporate matters.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, ideally within a law firm environment
- Paralegal diploma or formal paralegal education required
- Strong knowledge of corporate filings, annual maintenance, and compliance requirements
- Comfortable supporting a busy lawyer in a deadline-driven practice
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage work independently
- Experience with ELITE/ELF or similar legal accounting systems is considered an asset
