Junior to Senior Conveyancer
Kamloops, BC | Full-time, In-Office | Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Excel Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Law Firm in Kamloops, BC, for an experienced Conveyancer with residential and/or commercial experience. You’ll join a dedicated team of professionals in a supportive and collaborative office environment.
Position overview
The successful candidate will be a professional Conveyancer with a solid understanding of the legal aspects of property transactions. You’ll ensure that real estate purchases, sales, and transfers are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review legal documents and contracts related to property transactions
- Conduct title and property searches to confirm all legal obligations are met
- Prepare legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and leases
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
- Manage and complete property transactions, including fund transfers
- Provide guidance to clients on property transactions and related legal matters
- Stay informed of updates to conveyancing and property laws
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout each transaction
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience as a Conveyancer (junior to senior level)
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with eConveyance, myLTSA, and BC Online is a definite asset
Compensation & benefits
- Competitive salary: $24.00–$38.46/hour (up to $80,000 annually, based on experience)
- Full-time, in-office position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week)
- 2–4 weeks vacation (depending on experience)
