Pape Salter Teillet LLP (PST) is a boutique law firm dedicated exclusively to advancing the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples across Canada. Our nationwide practice addresses complex constitutional and administrative law issues, including litigation of historic and modern treaty matters and high-level negotiations.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a bilingual junior to mid‑level associate to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful litigation and participate in high‑level negotiations that shape Indigenous governance and rights across Canada. 

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed and called to the bar in both Quebec and Ontario (or another common law province).
• Both common and civil law degrees (e.g., JD/LLB and BCL or equivalent).
• Bilingual in French and English, with strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• 2-5 years of experience with demonstrated interest and practical exposure to litigation and negotiation work.
• Demonstrated interest or knowledge of Aboriginal and constitutional law, and a commitment to building a practice focused on Indigenous governance.

Full-time

Compensation

$115,000 - $165,000/year, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonus tied to billings.
