Quick Reference for Section Executives
As volunteer groups that operate under the general authority of the CBA, Sections must operate in accordance with Association policy and procedures.
Activities must comply with the Sections Regulation and be organized within the approved budget.
Your CBA staff liaison provides ongoing support and advice. Your liaison participates in calls and meetings, to provide information, clarification and assistance. Please keep your liaison informed, since that person is responsible to keep the CBA up to date on your activities and handle inquiries about your Section.
Resources do not permit staff to canvass availability for conference calls, draft reports, memos, minutes, or carry out the actual work of your Section, but they are always happy to provide support in the following key areas:
General information
- Provide information concerning policy and procedures
- Offer precedents for reports, agendas, and other documents
- Provide information about broader CBA initiatives of interest
- Put the Section directly in touch with other CBA staff or committees as needed
Financial matters
