TORONTO – The Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) has announced that the CCCA Quebec Section is the winner of the 2016 CCCA Professional Contribution Award.
Recognizing an individual or group who raises the profile of the CCCA in the professional community, this award is being presented to the members of the CCCA Quebec Section for their dedication to showcasing the contributions of the in-house profession and the CCCA within the Canadian legal and business landscape.
Through their combined efforts, the members of the CCCA Quebec Section have revitalized its offerings, renewing member interest and engagement. The Section has placed its efforts on offering professional development with a skills focus, has introduced a highly popular annual networking event, and is leading the charge on the important discussions around the value of in-house counsel in the sound administration of justice.
The Professional Contribution Award will be presented at the CCCA’s 2016 National Conference during the afternoon of Monday, April 4, 2016 in Calgary, AB, along with CCCA’s other awards.
