COVID-19 Resources

April 24, 2020

Many are still adjusting to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our lives and practices.  Some are feeling personally and professionally isolated, worried about our loved ones, or struggling with new living and working arrangements; many are experiencing a loss of income; and most of us are straining to keep up with a daily diet of new government measures.  A few of you have already reached out to colleagues for advice and support.

To help out, the CBA Immigration Law Section Executive has created a roster of experienced lawyers who are willing to have 15-20 minute calls with Section members who are looking for support.  We’re not trained financial advisers or counsellors, but we’ve all got experiences and ideas and are happy to share them.  Feel free to contact one of the lawyers below for advice on things like:

  • Staying connected and overcoming professional isolation
  • Keeping your business afloat financially
  • Adapting your practice to new realities
  • Staying up to date on legal and policy changes

Keep safe and healthy.
