Mandate

1. To develop, organize and present professional development and specialization programs of high academic quality, interest and practical application for CBA lawyers practising in the fields of industrial and intellectual property.
2. To coordinate activities and arrange for joint programs with other Canadian and foreign legal, industrial and intellectual property organizations for the purposes of meeting mandate No. 1.
3. To arrange this National Section’s plenary session at the CBA Legal Conference.
4. To meet regularly, by conference call or otherwise, and in particular at the CBA Legal Conference.
5. To provide comment and advice to the Section executive on professional development matters.
