The Canadian Bar Association bestows a prestigious series of national awards annually to celebrate individuals whose outstanding achievements have made significant contributions to the association, the legal profession, and to society.

The Ramon John Hnatyshyn award is given to recognize outstanding contribution in law reform, legal scholarship and/or legal research.

The James H. Bocking Memorial Award

Recognizes best scholarly paper/article submitted to the CBA Competition Law and Foreign Investment Review Section on a subject relating to Canadian competition law or policy.

The Paul Smith Memorial Award
