2017 Message from the Chair: Pensions & Benefits Law wants you! Join our committees
Dear Section Members,
The CBA Pensions & Benefits Law Section is Canada’s leading association of pensions and benefits lawyers. We contribute to national policy, advocate for the harmonization of pension laws and respond to legislative initiatives. Our members get access to the latest resources, submissions, news and articles. Check out our website and find out who’s on the 2017-2018 executive.
We are looking for committee members and other volunteers. We need your help to prepare submissions and programs that reflect the full range of member perspectives. We value diversity and encourage young lawyers and members from a variety of practice settings, including in-house counsel, to join.
We have three committees currently looking for volunteers:
- Advocacy and Government Relations: prepare submissions to government, agencies and other
- Communications: solicit, prepare, recommend and review content for the website, including articles, case law discussions, legislative updates and links of interest
