Dear member,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Chair of the National Environmental, Energy and Resources Law Section (NEERLS) and introduce you to the 2016-2017 executive. As a Section member you have access to the latest resources, submissions, programs, news and articles relating to the environment, energy and natural resources through the Section webpage.

We invite you to become engaged in Section activities:

• Submit an article to the Eco-bulletin.
• Access submissions and resolutions. NEERLS worked with the Aboriginal Law Section on a recent submission to the Review of Environmental Assessment Processes Expert Panel and Tony Crossman appeared before the Panel on behalf of the CBA. Access the submission and learn more.
• Encourage law students to enter the Section’s essay contest to win the Gowling WLG – David Estrin Prize.
• Join members on January 18 and hear updates on Canada's climate change legislation. Register here.
• Register Now – The 2017 NEERLS Annual Summit will be taking place on April 27-28 in Montreal! Join leading experts from across Canada and learn about emerging trends and recent developments in environmental, energy and natural resources law across the country.
