Dear members,
The CBA Air and Space Law Section is Canada’s leading association of aviation and space law lawyers. We contribute to national policy, advocate for the harmonization of aviation and space laws and respond to legislative initiatives.
Our members enjoy the benefit of sharing their aviation and space law expertise with each other, and get access to the latest resources, news and articles. Check out our website and find out who’s on the 2017-2018 Executive. We also encourage you to join the CBA Air and Space Law Section’s LinkedIn group.
We are looking for committee members and other volunteers. We need your help to prepare submissions and programs that reflect the full range of member perspectives. We value diversity and encourage young lawyers and members from a variety of practice settings, including in-house counsel, to join.
We have three committees currently looking for volunteers:
- Advocacy: prepare law reform submissions and organize meetings with government, agencies and other stakeholders
- Communications: solicit, prepare and recommend current articles, case law, legislative updates and links of interest for publication on our website
- Professional Development: develop and organize programs of interest and practical application for aviation and space law lawyers
We are also looking for volunteers to work on special projects and activities.
Please contact Augusta Acquah to join a committee or get involved.
