The Foundation for Legal Research’s (FLR) 2015 Walter Owen Book Prize has been awarded to Adam Dodek, Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, for his book Solicitor-Client Privilege, published by Lexis-Nexis.

With recent changes to the criminal law, especially in the area of sentencing and incarceration, criminal practitioners need to adopt a more “holistic” approach in dealing with offenders. The Judges’ Forum is teaming up with the CBA Criminal Justice Section to develop resources to help legal professionals recognize some of the so-called collateral consequences of guilt.
