OTTAWA – Vivene Salmon of Toronto began her year-long tenure as CBA President on Sept. 1, 2019. Salmon is the 123-year-old Association’s first president of colour, and only the second president from the in-house counsel community. She takes over from Raymond Adlington of Halifax. Brad Regehr of Manitoba takes over as Vice-President.

What’s New with the Succession Law Tables of Concordance? August 2019 Blast Email

Six new members will take their seats on the CBA Board of Directors on Sept. 1, 2019. They will join President Vivene Salmon of Ontario and Vice-President Brad Regehr of Manitoba, along with six board members who are entering the second year of their two-year terms.

The Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers International Program hosted pre-departure training this summer for a cohort of 32 interns selected for the 2019 program.

The final Conversations with the President podcast with current Canadian Bar Association President Ray Adlington drops on Thursday, Aug.22.
