Florence Ashley, LL.M., Receives the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Community Section Hero Award

OTTAWA – In recognition of Florence Ashley’s commitment to advancing the cause of equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and two-spirited people with the Canadian legal profession, the Canadian Bar Association is awarding them the SOGIC – Hero Award.  The award will be presented to Florence Ashley at the CBA’s President’s Dinner on February 12, 2019 in Ottawa.

The Honourable Douglas R. Campbell Receives the Touchstone Award

OTTAWA – To celebrate the accomplishments of The Honourable Douglas R. Campbell for championing issues of equality within the institutions of the legal profession including the judiciary, the Canadian Bar Association is awarding him the Touchstone Award.
