ESSENTIAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Over the years, project funding has been provided by Global Affairs Canada (formerly the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (Danida), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and others.

The Canadian Bar Association receives most of its International Initiatives funding through two funding streams at Global Affairs Canada: the Partnership and Bilateral programs. Global Affairs Canada’s Partnership program funding allows the CBA to work with local partners to tailor projects to their unique situations and needs. Global Affairs Canada’s Bilateral program funding allows the CBA to respond to requests from the Canadian government and governments in our partner countries.
