I extend a warm greeting to all members of our Section! As the 2022/2023 Chair, I am excited to serve alongside fellow members of the Executive. As the new Executive begins its work, the Section is vibrant from the leadership and attention of its past Chairs.
This year, the Executive endeavours to continue its tradition of providing members with quality Brown Bag Seminars, which are relevant coast-to-coast for the wide range of public sector lawyers. We will be in touch soon with updates on plans for our upcoming slate of Brown Bag Seminars. Remember, if you are signed up for a brown bag and you are unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, you can access a recording by contacting us.
As a final note, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or other members of our Executive should you have questions, concerns or feedback. The Section always welcomes your suggestions for relevant brown bags. Please check out our upcoming initiatives and read about our essay contest winner below!
We are accepting nominations for the John Tait Award of Excellence!
The award will be presented to a public sector lawyer or law office that has achieved the highest standard of professional conduct and competence and has made a significant contribution to social justice and community affairs.
