Gowning Requirements for Counsel (Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Appeal)

The CBA recommends changes to the Federal Court of Appeal’s gowning policies to accommodate counsel who need to depart from traditional gowning requirements due to personal circumstances such as pregnancy, medical condition or disability.

Medical Assistance in Dying

The CBA supports a ruling that some restrictions on the eligibility to medical assistance in dying are unconstitutional and encourages the federal government to work with provinces and territories to ensure eligibility is aligned with SCC guidance.

Transfers of Information for Processing
