  • The Atrium Law Student Essay Competition. Competition closes February 28, 2018.
  • April 19, 2018: In collaboration with the OBA, we will host a program on the changes to Ontario’s Construction Lien Act. This program will be offered in-person and via webcast.
  • April 2018: Watch for the call for nominations at the end of April. We encourage you to put your name forward for the positions of Secretary or Member-at-Large.
  • October 12, 2018 - October 13, 2018: We will hold our biennial construction law conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our speakers will discuss P3s, the Infrastructure Bank, and the most recent developments in construction law. The last conference sold out so we encourage you to sign up.

Your Participation

We invite you to participate in our Section. You can do so by joining our committees, such as the Construction Law Young Lawyers Committee, submitting articles for publication through our various media platforms, including Skylines and LinkedIn, or putting forward a suggestion for a future webinar. You are always welcome to contact me directly to discuss any of these initiatives or other matters related to the CBA Construction and Infrastructure Law Section.

CBA Webinars

Be sure to check out the Winter 2018 CBA Law Series, which brings together a faculty of experienced practitioners from diverse areas of practice to present substantive law webinars on new developments and case law, best practices, legal ethics, and current events.

Thanks,
