Legal Aid Saskatchewan (LAS) is hiring Director, Private Bar Services to oversee all matters related to private bar services, including panel management, communications, tariff, policies and procedures, exception/disbursement requests, account processing, reporting and project management. Director of Private Bar Services is a member of the LAS head office and will work closely with the Legal Directors, General Counsel, Finance and will supervise Private Bar Clerks. This is a full time, two-year term position and the successful candidate must be based in Saskatchewan but will have the ability to work remotely. Occasionally, it may be necessary to visit the head office in Saskatoon or the various area offices around the province.
Reporting to the General Counsel, the Director of Private Bar Services is responsible for supporting Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission’s (SLAC’s) Vision, Mission and Strategic Priorities to ensure a high quality, culturally responsive, and client centred experience.
