Shadi is a second-year JD student at Osgoode Hall Law School. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier with a BA in Economics and Financial Management. Shadi has been passionate about construction and infrastructure from an early age. Through her involvement in her parents’ engineering company, Can-Technologies Inc., she gained significant technical exposure which helped her in helming the company’s $5-million expansion into China. Shadi has also worked for KPMG as a Global Infrastructure Advisory Analyst and for Rockwell Automation as a Project Manager. In the summer of 2018, she was hired by Joe Cosentino, a partner at Goodmans, to update a textbook chapter on the Construction Act. Shadi will be working at Goodmans this summer.
