Ever wonder what the interns participating in the Young Lawyers International Program do, and where they do it?
This year we’ve given the 2018-19 YLIP participants several chances to share their stories – from Instagram takeovers (@canadianbarassociation) in April, to testimonials published on our web page. They’ve told stories of interesting work with overseas organizations working in law reform, human rights and access to justice.
We’re currently training the next crew of interns for overseas placement this fall, but it won’t be long before we’re looking for people interested in training for 2020-21 placements, so keep an eye out.
If you want to find out more about the program, which runs with funding from Global Affairs Canada until 2022, offering opportunities in 10 different countries, check out the YLIP page.
