The 2017 edition of the book Global Corruption: Law, Theory and Practice is now ready and available online.
The first of its kind when it was first published in 2015, the course book on anti-corruption was written by University of Victoria law professor Gerry Ferguson. It is a comprehensive account of the historical, social, economic and political dimensions of corruption and compares the U.S., U.K. and Canadian anti-corruption regimes.
The CBA’s Anti-Corruption Team is a sponsor of the book.
CBA-ACT is a joint committee comprising various members of the CBA, including in-house counsel. CBA-ACT was established to monitor and respond to all matters involving corrupt practices and to provide Canadian Lawyers with a place to learn about anti-corruption legislation, case law and compliance requirements.
