As part of the National Legislative Delegation Project (NLD), a group from the Vietnam Competition Authority and Vietnam Bar Federation met with Canadian officials and CBA members to gain a better understanding of Canada's competition law landscape.
The 11-day visit (March 5 to March 13) started in Ottawa where the delegation met with officials from the Competition Bureau (including Commissioner John Pecman), Justice Denis Gascon, chair of the Competition Tribunal, and Chief Justice Paul Crampton of the Federal Court. The group then traveled to Toronto to connect with the executive and other members of the CBA’s Competition Law section.
