The 2012 Nanaimo Law Day Open House will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on April 14, 2012 at the Nanaimo Courthouse, 35 front street.
Nanaimo Law Day events will include:

Tour of the Sheriff’s Van and Cells

Panel of two judges and the assistant A-G, Criminal Justice Branch, with a question and answer period following

Exhibits by community resource groups

Resource Tables and a raffle

Court Registry staff available for

BBQ concession by local scout troup

On Saturday, April 21, 2012, the British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association will hold its province-wide "Dial-A-Lawyer" event as part of Law Week.
BC residents are invited to call 1.800.663.1919 between 10am and 2pm to speak with a lawyer for up to 15 minutes at no cost in the following areas of law:
