Saskatchewan North

Despite being one of CCCA's smaller chapters, given the relative size of the corporate counsel community in Saskatoon, the Saskatchewan North Chapter continues as a strong and dynamic entity. Membership allows each of us to share ideas and network, to learn from peers and to share examples of best practice with those newer to the profession. That's what I believe our chapter is all about.

Chapter members have told me over the years that their involvement with us has given them the ability to easily access any number of colleagues from any number of industries when seeking advice on business or legal issues. As well, the chapter provides all of us the important opportunity to assume the roles of both mentor and mentee.

For Saskatchewan North, our strategic objective for 2011 and beyond is to examine our mission for the upcoming year and bring continued strong professional development and membership growth to members. The lunch presentations and round table discussions we provide are realized through hours from volunteers in the community. I am truly grateful for their support, expertise and commitment to our professional education and networking opportunities.

As your Chapter President, I look forward to working with all my colleagues whose vision, hard work and tireless dedication continue to enable growth and demonstrate tangible results for our diverse membership in North Saskatchewan.
