Kim Stewart and Her Majesty the Queen In Right of Alberta v. Enterprise Universal Inc., Peter Huang, John Huang and Ian Huang Enterprise Universal Inc. (“Enterprise”) owned and operated the Holy Cross Centre at all material times. Peter Huang, John Huang and Ian Huang owned, operated and were the directing minds of Enterprise Universal Inc. In 2002 when renovations were being undertaken by Enterprise at the Centre, several of the buildings in the renovation had large quantities of asbestos in them. Enterprise did not hire a trained asbestos abatement company to remove the asbestos, but instead hired individual workers, some with no training or experience.  Many of the asbestos workers, the general staff, health care professionals and patients at the Centre were exposed to the asbestos from the time that the renovations started.  These individuals were not told of this exposure by Enterprise.
