President Stephen McPhee presented before the Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Vancouver. Like many stakeholders in the justice system, British Columbia lawyers represented by the CBA are concerned about both perceived and real barriers to the British Columbians accessing the justice system in all areas of the province. Mr. McPhee outlined the Branch’s recommendations for the 2011 Provincial Budget.
