Executive Director, CBA BC Branch The BC Branch of the CBA is seeking an experienced Executive Director with 5-8 years of progressive management and organizational experience either in an association or managing business operations within the legal field.
Reporting to the President and Executive Committee, you will manage the daily activities and overall strategic business management of the Association in BC to ensure its mandate is fulfilled professionally and efficiently.
You will utilize your understanding of association management to represent the Branch to external parties, societies and interest groups, and to serve as a pivotal resource for all Executive Committee and designated Provincial Council meetings and matters.
Operationally, you are responsible for all administrative, human resources, program development and public service components of the Branch, including the development and monitoring of the annual operating budget for the Executive Committee’s review.
You are an experienced administrative leader and manager, ideally with a degree in law or business management. Competent in current information technologies, you have proven people management, leadership and interpersonal skills along with irreproachable professional and personal integrity. As a strategic and visionary thinker, you facilitate ongoing relations with the Executive Committee, the CBA membership and various stakeholder groups. You combine a familiarity with financial management matters, including forecasting, budgeting and investing, with an open management style that fosters employee motivation, development and relationship building.
