The Pensions & Benefits Law Section is seeking participation in its various committees. These committees provide Section members with the opportunity to comment on proposed changes to legislation and regulatory policies, keep abreast of developments in pensions and benefits law and to network with others with similar interests. Committees need the contribution of Section members to deliver relevant services to members and to prepare submissions to legislative and regulatory bodies that reflect the full range of member perspectives.

Advocacy and Government Relations Committee

• Prepares submissions to various legislative and regulatory bodies on issues of current interest.
• Reviews, analyzes and comments on proposed legislation, regulations and policy developments in the pensions and benefits law field.

Professional Development Committee

Co-Chair: Anthony Guindon 
Co-Chair: Taylor Buckley 

• Develops, organizes and presents professional development programs of high academic quality, interest and practical application for lawyers practicing in pensions and benefits law

Outreach and Communications Committee

Co-Chair: Tom Stevenson
Co-Chair: Dante Manna

• Champion and promote the Section to members and potential members.
• Recommends content or links of interest to the Executive Committee for the Section’s webpage.
• Solicits and coordinates articles for each issue of the newsletter. Reviews articles and helps determine the line-up for each issue.
