Copyright Policy Committee

Mandate

  1. To monitor current issues, both domestic and international, on copyright and copyright legislation which will, or may, affect copyright in Canada or Canadians.
  2. To meet, as required, taking advantage of email and telecommunications, to discuss and prepare responses to copyright issues as they arise.
  3. To provide comment, advice, and proposals to the Section Executive on copyright matters.
  4. To work with the Section Executive on continuing legal education and other copyright-related initiatives, both inside and outside the CBA.
  5. To liaise with the Section Executive, Section Committees, and other CBA Sections, on issues and submissions that touch on copyright matters and issues.
