The CBA Admin Law Insider: Section Opportunities May 2018

We are excited to share new opportunities with you and to remind members of upcoming key dates and ways to engage with your Section.

SECTION ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Section is currently seeking nominations for a Secretary-Treasurer and up to 10 Members-at-Large. This is your opportunity to bring your experience to a wide range of activities for lawyers who share your interests or work in your practice area. Apply online by May 31, 2018.

Young Lawyers (within 3 years of call) and students with a particular interest or relevant experience are encouraged to apply for Member-at-Large positions.

Save the Date: The 19th annual CBA Administrative Law and Labour & Employment Law Conference will be held in Ottawa on November 16 and 17, 2018.

If you have ideas for topics or speakers for next year’s conference, please let us know.

The Section continues to have several active committees and would welcome expressions of interest from those wanting to get involved.

We are always looking for members to submit relevant and current articles on administrative law issues under the Section’s article banner Intra Vires.
