The Ontario Court of Appeal has upheld the decision by the Law Society of Upper Canada not to accredit TWU. The CBA intervened in the appeal and welcomes today’s ruling. In other jurisdictions, decisions are pending from the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. CBA pro bono legal counsel are Susan Ursel, Amy Sakalauskas and David Grossman.
In 2014, the CBA passed a resolution calling for non-discrimination in legal education.
