NOTICE OF MEETING

LOCATION: Manitoba Justice – Civil Legal Services, 730-405 Broadway, Winnipeg
TOPIC: Anaerobic Digestion/Biogas
SPEAKERS: John Ilg and Joseph Furgal, FWS Group
Join John Ilg and Joseph Furgal as we discuss biodigesters in the context of a possible alternative to disposing of biological waste, from, for example, Manitoba food processing operations, as well as the net benefit of the green energy project. We will look at the energy that can be used from the processing of the waste, against the energy that would have been expended in the hauling of the waste to landfill, and the negative effect of the greenhouse gasses created in the decomposition of the waste in landfill. This meeting will be of interest to lawyers who practice in the Environmental Law area or in the commercial area where they have clients involved in activities where environmental stewardship and waste reduction are issues of concern.
