he 2009 Tri-Cities Law Day was held from 10:15 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2009 the Port Coquitlam Courthouse at 2620 Mary Hill Road. Law Day events included an orientation at 10:15 am, a Q&A session with a Crown Counsel at 11:30 am and a mock trial from 12:30 to 1:45 pm with students from Maple Ridge Elementary.

On Saturday, April 25, 2009, the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch held its province-wide “Dial-A-Lawyer” as part of Law Week. Tri-Cities residents were invited to call 1.800.663.1919 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm to speak with a lawyer for up to 15 minutes at no cost.
