he Terrace Law Day open house was held from 12:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday April 16, 2009 at the Terrace Courthouse. Law Day events in Terrace offered a variety of activities for the public, including:

• 12:00 to 1:00 pm - Open House with luncheon provided at Terrace Legal Services Society, 207 – 3228 Kalum Street, Terrace.
• 1:30 pm - Court house Tour at Terrace Courthouse, 3408 Kalum Street, Terrace.
• 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Presentations by Justice System Personnel at Terrace Courthouse, 3408 Kalum Street, Terrace.

On Saturday, April 25, 2009, the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch held its province-wide “Dial-A-Lawyer” as part of Law Week. Terrace area residents were invited to call 1.800.663.1919 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm to speak with a lawyer for up to 15 minutes at no cost.
