Any person in Canada who claims personal injury and/or damage as a result of being prescribed OxyContin and thereafter suffered, and/or continues to suffer, the effects of the drug including the risk of drug dependency, addiction, actual addiction and the consequences of addiction, physical, mental, and/or emotional harm, death and/or loss of consortium (the "Injury Class"). Any person who has a derivative claim on account of a family relationship with a person described in the Injury Class, and includes persons with a claim for loss of consortium (the "Family Class"). |
