The Plaintiffs propose to bring to a common law class proceeding, on behalf of themselves and on behalf of a class of other residents of nursing homes in the Province of Nova Scotia and their family members (Class Members) who have been required to pay for the health care costs of residents in nursing homes for the period between February 1, 2001 and January 1, 2005 (Class Period).  The proposed class will be further defined in the Application for Certification.
