The Defendant's are manufacturers of a narcotic drug called Oxycodone and sell it under the name Oxycontin. This is a prescription painkiller that was developed for cancer patients but has not been confined to that use. Patient's taking this drug for moderate to severe pain injuries associated with back pain, arthritis, neuralgia and cancer are becoming addicated and dependent on this drug.
