Catalyst Consulting Richard G. Stock, M.A., FCIS, CMC, is the founding partner of Catalyst Consulting. He has completed more than 500 consulting engagements for law departments, law firms and legal associations in Canada, the U.S., Australia and Europe. He has been working with lawyers for more than 30 years - first as a client representative, then as a legal executive with a national firm, for the last 15 years as a legal services consultant. His practice is divided between corporate / government law departments and law firms. Consulting engagements cover the spectrum of business strategy, organizational issues, performance and legal economics. Richard is a frequent speaker at conferences and publishes regularly. Prior to founding the firm, he worked with the Government of Canada, as an executive in higher education and in a teaching hospital, as a Principal with KPMG, and as the COO of a national law firm.
