Navigant Consulting Managing Director and Canadian Practice Area Leader for Navigant Consulting. One of the most experienced and respected forensic accountants in the discipline. During the past three decades, Bob has investigated hundreds of complex civil and criminal cases and has testified as an expert witness in court and before international arbitration tribunals more than 40 times. His practice is focused on fraud investigations and commercial litigation for corporations, governments and regulatory institutions. Most recently, he led a large team of forensic accountants, retained by the Gomery Commission of Inquiry, to investigate the misuse of federal Sponsorship and Advertising funds in Quebec. Mr. Macdonald testified on his teams findings at the televised hearings. Bob obtained his CA in 1975, the Specialist Designation in Investigative & Forensic Accounting in 2000, and was appointed an FCA in 2006.
