Veronica graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992. She was called to the Manitoba Bar in Manitoba in 1993 and the British Columbia bar in 2007. For the first part of her career she was a Crown Prosecutor in Winnipeg. She later entered private practice, focusing on the areas of civil and administrative litigation, eventually becoming a partner in a boutique litigation firm in Winnipeg. In 2007 she was invited to join the Constitutional and Administrative Law Group of the Ministry of Attorney General of British Columbia. She currently divides her time between Vancouver and Victoria. Veronica has a long standing history with the CBA. She is a past-president of the Manitoba Bar Association, a former member of the CBA Board of Directors and a member of the CBA’s Futures Committee. She is currently the Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Women’s Forum. |
